Martial Arts students use
Kettlebells to develop the explosive strength needed in martial arts,
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Grappling, and MMA . The kettlebell will give
you power, stamina, and balance.
The Kettlebell is a
weight with a handle. The Kettlebell is used to increase strength,
balance, and flexibility without causing the athlete to over develop
a specific body part. SBJJ uses Kettlebells to help our students
develop explosive power.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu School. It is our goal to become
Connecticut’s (CT) premiere training program for BJJ and MMA
students. We are conveniently located in Milford Connecticut
(CT).
Students can train at MMA CT to learn
self defense, participate in sport grappling tournaments, and to enter
mixed martial arts (MMA) competition. Students participate in sparring
and rolling according to their skill level and training objectives.
Technical drilling, rolling, and flow fighting are an important part of
training at MMA CT. All students must master the technical aspects of
BJJ and striking at their level prior to advancing to the next level of
training.
